Fermisense / Data Intelligence Platform

The intelligence layer for high-stakes work.

Built for hedge funds.

Fermisense converts filings, memos, claim files, and unstructured records into a single, source-linked context layer. Every answer is grounded in the documents it came from, so research, risk, and operations teams can move faster without losing rigor.

Built by
Researchers and engineers from Stanford and TUM, alongside operators from regulated financial and consumer technology businesses.

Built and used by people from research labs and operating companies that work with complex data every day.

Capabilities

Three primitives. One context layer.

Most of an organization's knowledge lives outside the warehouse. Fermisense unifies that surface area, then exposes it through retrieval, ingestion, and workflow APIs you can ship to production.

02

Governed Ingestion

Bring data in from email, drives, ticketing, CRMs, and bespoke systems with policy controls, access boundaries, and full lineage. Stays current as the source-of-truth changes.

  • Connectors and webhooks
  • Row and document-level access
  • Audit-ready lineage
03

Workflow APIs

Plug verified findings into the tools your team already lives in. Trigger reviews, route alerts, and embed retrieval into internal apps through stable production APIs.

  • REST and streaming endpoints
  • Slack, Teams, email handoff
  • Programmable evaluators

Where it runs

Built for teams whose decisions depend on documents.

Fermisense is deployed across regulated and high-precision domains. The product stays the same; the workflows on top of it change.

By the numbers

Production scale, on day one.

The platform was engineered for the volume, latency, and integration footprint that real enterprise work demands.

PB-scale

Unstructured-data infrastructure tested across petabyte-class corpora.

<250 ms

Median grounded-retrieval response time on production workloads.

50,000+

Connector configurations across CRMs, drives, ticketing, and bespoke systems.

Fermisense was started by researchers and engineers from Stanford and TUM who kept watching the same problem repeat itself. The decisions that move enterprises run on documents, conversations, and media that were never designed to be queried together. Investment memos, regulatory filings, claim files, and email threads sit in different systems with different rules.

We built a context layer for that surface area. It continuously ingests, structures, and reconciles incoming data, resolves conflicts across sources, and keeps knowledge fresh, so production workflows in research, compliance, underwriting, and operations stay accurate at scale.

The aim is simple. Less time spent assembling context. More time spent acting on it, with answers that hold up to scrutiny.

Bring the documents. Keep the rigor.

See Fermisense on a real workload from your team. We will run a working session with your data and show grounded answers, citations, and how the platform plugs into your existing tools.
